Looking straight out of our cabin we have a great view of the working Port of Cotonou. Huge container ships and other vessels make their way carefully across the harbour to a berth.
The Port Tug boats that guide the ships in are parked to the right, but especially during the week they are busy much of the time.
If we look further to the right, there is a busy fishing village with fishing boats passing by our ship all through the day.
These guys spend their lives on the water, fishing to support their families.
