However, this is Africa so we also saw Crocodiles & Alligators. The highlight of the trip though was when we came across this mother and baby chimp. They were just walking on the road and as we approached, the baby chimp raised its arms to me to be picked up. We had such a fun time with these chimps. I played "Round & round the garden like a Teddy Bear, one step, two step & a tickley under there" I did it once and raised the chimps arm. The second and subsequent times the chimp raised its own arm in anticipation. This made all the kids laugh so much! Unfortunately Emma wasn't with us that day as she was unwell and stayed on the ship. Josh & Chris came along and had their chance to hold the chimp. The weather was very warm but we had some rain and it made my camera keep steaming up, so the pics are not as clear as I would have liked.
