After 9 months of hard work the Polyclinic's new Maternity Ward is complete. Andy & I had the joy of attending the opening ceremony (Steven pictured far left on back row). We sat for several hours in the heat, though thankfully under a canopy to protect us from the sun, and listened to several lengthy speeches. This was followed by a presentation to all our local dayworkers who had helped with the project. The Mercy Ships Crew who work in CDS presented the dayworkers with Certificates. Steven was involved in making many of these presentations. The Ghana Health Service then made presentations to our CDS team by way of thanks for all their hard work. It was a joy to be a part of the celebrations.
