On 27th we travelled down the South of the Island to Los Christianos. We spent the morning around the beach front area which was very pretty.
In the afternoon we decided to travel back over the Volcanic Mount Tiede - Over 3,000 metres high. It was a long and winding road as we zigzagged up & over. At the top we drove around the huge crater. It was so high we drove through and then above the clouds.
En route up, after we had gone above cloud level we came across a lovely parkland/picnic area.
The scenery was breathtaking.
It was pretty cool once we got near the top, with snow on the mountain peak!
The next day 28th, we went to LORO PARQUE. This boasts the most wonderful Sea Lion, Dolphin & Orca Whale shows we have ever seen. Along with viewing the many other animals at the park, it made for a wonderful day out.
Josh was chosen from the audience to help with Sea Lions' leap!
